Rebecca's glass sculptures have been chosen for juried shows across the country. Rebecca won First Prize in the Glass Category at the Washington Square Outdoor Art Exhibit and Best of Show at the Old Saybrook Fine Art and Craft Fair. She has been featured in publications as the Smithsonian Holiday Catalogue, The New York Times, Country Living Gardner, Cuddledown of Maine and Hudson Valley Magazine, to name a few.
Her work has appeared at the White House, in the Renwick Gallery of The Smithsonian Institution, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the de Young Fine Arts Museum, The Columbus Art Museum and The American Crafts Museum in New York City, among others. Also, her works have been sold in over 400 retail outlets nationally, including Nordstrom, Barney's and Neiman-Marcus. She is a regular participant in major arts and craft shows throughout the Northeast.
Rebecca graduated from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University, where she received Divisional Honors for her Senior BFA Exhibition. Subsequently, she pursued her studios with distinguished glass artists Curtiss Brock, Jan Mares, Richard Ritter, Rob Levin, and Richard Jolley. She continued her studies at the Pilchuck School of Glass, Penland School of Crafts and Urban Glass in Brooklyn, NY. She was an assistant to Richard Jolley before opening her own glass studio in Sea Cliff, New York in 1993.
